BUILDING THE FUTURE OF EDUCATION —
Cohort 7 · Applications open

We got Bored of Education. So we're reinventing it.

We bring the people reinventing Indian education into one room, and build it with them from inside real classrooms.

The BoE cohort together, arms out, in their Bored of Education tees
Why

This isn't a course. It's where you find your purpose in education.

By the end you know why you care, what you would build, and how you would start. And you have the confidence to go and do it.

My cohort freed me of the belief that there's a right way to do things in education, or in life. The only answer worth having is the one that works for you.

How

We help you build the courage, the clarity, and the community.

The fellowship comes down to a few things: the courage to act, clarity on the what, why, and how of your work, and a community that keeps you going. We build them together, in a few ways.

01

See the landscape

You come to understand the wider education space: what people are trying, what is working, and what isn't.

02

Turn the lens inward

You look at your own role, and find the space to tell your story, the outer one and the inner one, through masterclasses and the rooms we hold together.

03

Stay in the movement

You see the innovation happening around you, so your work stays connected to a bigger picture instead of growing in isolation.

Visiting schools and learning spaces across the host city is a big part of this: watching different pedagogies up close, and talking with the educators and school leaders who run them. It's one part of a larger whole, not the whole thing.

What you leave with

Clarity. Courage. Community.

01
Clarity

Know what you want to build, and why.

Get sharp on the problem that's yours to solve before you build a thing.

02
Courage

Build it, test it, ship it.

Take an idea to a prototype, then to a real pilot, and present it at Demo Day.

03
Community

Ninety builders in your corner.

People who care about this as much as you do, and who stay in your corner long after.

What you get

Everything you need to build something real.

01Access to 20+ innovative schools
02One-on-one mentorship
03Masterclasses on education
04Mixers with founders, investors, and educators
Who it's for

This is for you if you're building in education.

Whether you already have a school or an idea and want to make it stronger, or you want to start building toward one.

Already building

You have a product or service

Maybe a school, a K-12 offering, an after-school program, or learning play-kits. You come to understand the wider landscape and the innovation around you, see where your work fits, and find the people to build it with.

Just starting

You're earlier in the process

Maybe a new AI curriculum, or a teacher-training tracker. The point here is clarity: to explore what you could build and what's possible, and to get sharp on the why, the what, and the how. There's a process to help you do exactly that.

Either way, what matters is that you're curious, and actively building in this space.

Partner schools

Backed by 20+ of India's most innovative schools.

Find your people

A cohort is a community, not a classroom.

Building in silos is outdated. You build better, and braver, when you build together.

FAQ

The things people ask first.

Why does BoE exist? +
The best ideas in education rarely leave the school that had them. BoE brings the people reinventing it into one room, so they build together instead of in silos.
What actually happens in the fellowship? +
You spend it inside real schools and the rooms we hold together, working on a project that is yours, and you present it at Demo Day to school leaders, founders, and investors.
Who is it for? +
People building in education, whether you already have a school or a product, or you are just starting toward one. You do not need a finished idea to belong.
Where does it happen? +
Each cohort happens in a different city, and we have already run in four. Keep an eye out for where the next one lands.
How do I apply? +
Click the application link and fill in the form. If you are selected, we do an interview. Once you pass, you join a cohort of about 20 people.
